Jorge M. Ruiz-Montilla is an Income Member of the Firm and Vice-Chair of the Real Estate and Commercial Financing Practice Group. He is also Chairman of the firm's Recruiting Committee and part of the Hospitality Industry Practice Area.

Education

Mr. Ruiz-Montilla obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a juris doctor from the Interamerican University School of Law.

Mr. Ruiz-Montilla is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.

Mr. Ruiz-Montilla participated extensively in the (i) $68,290,000 AFICA Financing for the Paradisus Coco Beach Resort Project in Ro Grande, Puerto Rico, (ii) $18,000,000 AFICA Financing for the Coco Beach Golf & Country Club Project in Ro Grande, Puerto Rico, and (iii) $39,000,000 AFICA Financing for the Costa Caribe Resort Project in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
