María C. Cartagena-Cancel is an Associate in the Litigation Practice Group.

Practice Area and Experience

Before joining McConnell Valdés, Mrs. Cartagena worked as a senior Planning and Logistics manager at Intel Puerto Rico and Intel Corporation.

Education

In 1983, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico. In 1985 obtained a Master degree in Planning, cum laude, from de University of Puerto Rico. She was awarded with the Most Outstanding Student in Urban Planning award. In 2005 she obtained Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2005.

Admissions

Mrs. Cartagena is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

She is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association.
