Vanessa Carballido Clerch joined McConnell Valdés as an Associate in August 2008. She is part of the firm's Litigation Practice Group.

Ms. Carballido's primary practice area is general litigation focusing on Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law.

Experience

Before joining McConnell Valdés, Ms. Carballido was a writer for San Juan City Magazine. During law school she worked in the legal department of The San Juan and later interned in the law offices of Roberto Sueiro. During her last year of law school, Ms. Carballido was a trademark law clerk at McConnell Valdés.

Education

Ms. Carballido earned a Masters in Intellectual Property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2008 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in May 2007. Ms. Carballido earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Tulane University in 2002.
