Governor signs Amendment to the P.R. Warranty Law: Until May 3, 2005, auto manufacturer had the option of offering in P.R. the warranty offered either in the U.S. or in the country of origin where the vehicle was manufactured. Effective yesterday, the manufacturer must offer in P.R. the warranty that offers the best terms anywhere in the world to the consumer.
